HELLO!

WHAT TO STUDY FOR MID YEARS.

ENGLISH:
One of the papers requires you to write a composition and a factual recount.

The factual recount MAY be
1. A Police Report
2. School Report
3. Newspaper Report

Make sure that you are familiar with the steps to approach a factual recount and the proper format of each report. Most of the information is in your notes.

Focus on your reading comprehension and summary too!

Mr JOSIAH ng will be printing some other notes and vocab lists/phrases for us to refer to, and familiarise ourselves with them. This is to try and boost your language marks in your writing.
He will start the revisions proper in the middle or end of next week, so that we focus one whole week on just revising for exams.

Feel free to email him if there is anything else.

Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10

SCIENCE:
Biology: Chap 4 & 5
Chemistry: Chap 1 & 2
Physics: Chap 8 & 9

HISTORY:

GEOGRAPHY:
Book 2A: ALL CHAPTERS
Book 2B: Chapter 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15

Section A:
MAP WORK [20 marks]

Section B:
Structured Question [30 marks]
Three Questions, 10 marks each.
Questions With Sources Given [30 marks]
Two questions, 15 marks each.

HEAVY focus on POPULATION.
SETTLEMENTS will appear here and there.

Chap 8: Introduction
Chap 9: Not Very Important, but still, STUDY!
Chap 10 & 11: FOCUS!
Chap 12: FOCUS MORE!
Chap 13, 14 & 15: Look at it as one Chapter, STUDY!

MOTHER TONGUE:
Please ask your own MOTHER TONGUE teachers for clarification, since we're all in different classes.

I'm sorry for not being such an efficient Monitress these days.
Lots of things going on, slowly going into slack mood already, because I feel that there's no motivation in me or around me.
